Apparently the yeast has an apparent attenuation of 74% If that is so the final gravity should be...

= ((1051 - 1000) * (1 - 74/100)) + 1000
= 1013.3

- Method:
- Open LME tin & heat in water.
- Boiled 2L water.
- Add dried malts.
- Boil for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat & add hop bags for 10 minutes.
- Add LME to fermenter, add 1 tin of boiled water too.
- Add water to 20L and aerate.
- Add wort to fermenter.
- Used 150mL of the starter & made a new one.
- Sensor failure means no temperature monitoring, moved to linen cupboard.
- Set to 14C as of 23:00 19/01/2009
- Set to 18C as of 20:00 21/01/2009
- Use 160g of priming sugar.
- Got 53 375mL bottles from 20 L of beer.
