Brew Number 50

  • Gumpy's "Boston Cream" Ale kit
  • 1.7 kg Grumpy's Light LME (30 IBUs)
  • Wyeast #1335 (British Ale II) (1st generation - 1/03/07)

Was brought out to 23L. Yeast pitched at 30.1 degrees. Used fermenter #2.

Apparently the yeast has an apparent attenuation of 73-76% If that is so the final gravity should be...
FG = (SG - 1000) * (1 - AA/100) + 1000 
   = ((1042 - 1000) * (1 - 74.5/100)) + 1000
   = 1010.7

  • Boiled with finishing hops for 3 minutes.
