I took a great snowboarding trip to Nagano this winter break. I visited my friend Kat, who introduced me to the JET program. Lucky me for meeting her. The gang up in Nagano was very welcoming. We cooked up quite a feast. I was impressed with our collective cooking abilities. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, roasted vegetables, pumpkin pie, blueberry muffins, egg nog, mulled wine, yum! The slopes were just beautiful. I improved a lot at snowboarding, but also became a bit of a snob about snow conditions. It's tough to board on Kuma's ice after Nagano's powder.
